Overall sales volume in our market has decreased over the last month and I imagine it will drop off even more so with the recent change in weather. This seasonal shift is a part of the cycle and happens at just about the same time every year. The Winter market tests motivation and those in the market are faced with the decision to push forward or pull back. Either way, just keep in mind that closings continue to happen every day and those that are opportunistic can make great deals happen. Less inventory means less competition for Sellers and motivated Sellers mean possible deals for Buyers. The market has a funny way of balancing itself out.
