Redmond is the second largest city in Deschutes County, just north of Bend, the county seat. Like Bend, Redmond sits east of the Cascade Mountain Range in the high desert of Central Oregon. Redmond is accessed on Hwy 97, traveling north and south. Redmond is the home of the main airport that services the Central Oregon communities. Like the other towns of the high desert, Redmond has experienced a lot of growth and new home development over the last several decades.
