Buyer activity is staying strong in May, which is great to see—but it’s still not quite keeping up with the number of new listings. So far, the pace of new homes hitting the market is pretty similar to what we saw in April. If more sellers decide to enter the market and this activity keeps up, May could end up being one of the more exciting months we’ve seen in the past few years. Buyers are becoming active as the Summer season warms up, but we are still experiencing some price points moving faster than others. I've said this a few times now, but if you're in a competitive market like the one we're seeing right now, smart pricing, strategy and timing really matter.
