Mortgage rates continue their downward trend after peaking in January—still not as low as last September, but heading in the right direction. Meanwhile, I’ve noticed more buyers stepping into the market over the past two months, looking to get a head start on the Spring market. I usually see small flurries of activity this time of year, sparked by a glimpse of nicer weather, but hopefully this could be a sign of a busier market ahead. Only time will tell on this front.
