The Bend market seems to be rebounding a bit, with more Buyer interest and prices leveling off. It's hard to tell if we've hit our "bottom" but I'll continue keeping you in the loop on what direction we are heading. Redmond remains in a slump, as February marks the 6th month in a row for falling prices and a 16% year over year decrease. It may be a good time for a first time buyer to break into that market and snag a good deal! Overall statistics show Bend and Deschutes county as a whole weathering the storm much better than the periphery areas in Crook and Jefferson county. I believe it's attributed to the demand that still exists from Buyers, who see the area as a great long term investment, regardless of the short term hiccups along the way. As always, feel free to reach out to see how you could best capitalize on the changes happening right now! - Greg
