The housing inventory in Central Oregon is continuing to grow and we've seen a large boost of sellers entering the market this past week. Despite this increase, inventory levels remain somewhat low compared to historical averages and I don't see the number of pending homes keeping pace.

In Deschutes County, inventory was limited last year, with sellers holding off to list their homes this Spring. My hope is that buyer demand will match this increase in supply to support a strong market or else we will see saturation and shift towards a buyer's market.. but only time will tell.

Overall activity appears solid at this time, but it is important to note that some listings are still sitting around, with very high days on market. This could be due to incorrectly pricing, poor first impression/marketing or higher borrowing costs.
