It feels like everyone is just waiting for the warmer weather to hit so that they can jump into their next season plans! The housing market is just starting to warm up for the Spring, with an increased number of buyers starting their search and sellers reaching out to me with inquiries on their properties. This feels like a great time for sellers who were previously impacted by rising mortgage rates last year to reanalyze if it makes sense to make a move on their plans this go around. Mortgage application activity has been increasing as rates have been declining, so motivated buyers are still out there and looking.

 

If you are a seller, right now is the time I recommend my clients to start the prep work needed to to maximize your sale; Yard work, painting, fix ups and lining up help before the busy season hits.
